She continued, "The woman looks directly into the camera and is definitely not Rozlyn. The tape looks like it was done as porn to be sold, not a private moment captured on tape . . . It so clearly seems someone is trying to ruin her. I don't know why someone would do this to her -- she has to take her son to school in the mornings." Katie Stevens kicked off last night's show with Kelly Clarkson's "Break Away." For the third week in a row, Stevens picked the wrong song, but she was given points for trying. Siobhan Magnus was the next girl to perform. Although she impressed three of the judges, Simon Cowell was left wanting more. MICHAEL JACKSON'S BODYGUARDS SPEAK OUT
Three former Michael Jackson bodyguards, who spent the last two years of the singer's life guarding him and his children, appeared on Good Morning America on Tuesday (March 9th) to share their impressions of the King Of Pop. Mike Garcia, Javon Beard, and Bill Whitfield agreed that the Jackson they knew was a loving father of three smart, polite children, and an avid reader who longed to do such simple things as shop at a Wal-Mart or order a beer at a bar without being mobbed. They described a lonely man whose existence was often full of "stress, paranoia and pain." When asked if they believed Jackson was a pedophile, all three men emphatically said "no." - Whitfield replied, "Being a man -- men know men -- and we [were] around him long enough to know . . . h e was a man." Garcia added that Jackson had "desires of women like we do. He had lovers."
- They noted that while they were initially hired as security, they quickly became more than that. "We were with Michael Jackson the person, not the entertainer," Garcia said.
- The three say they are planning to publish a book about their experiences with Jackson, saying that it will put to rest many rumors about the man who may have been "different, not weird."
- Part Two of their interview with GMA reporter Ashleigh Banfield airs this morning (Wednesday, March 10th).

TV PRODUCER PLEADS GUILTY TO BLACKMAILING DAVID LETTERMAN
Television producer Robert Joel Halderman pleaded guilty on Tuesday (March 9th) to trying to extort $2 million from David Letterman by threatening to reveal the late night host's sexual relationships with employees. Halderman, pleaded guilty to attempted grand larceny in exchange for serving six months in jail, performing 1,000 hours of community service and giving up his right to appeal. He faced up to 15 years in prison had he gone to trial and been convicted. The formal sentencing will be in May. - Letterman thanked the prosecutors and police in a written statement which read, "When they became involved with this case, I had complete faith that a just and appropriate result was inevitable. On behalf of my family, I am extremely grateful for their tireless efforts."
- Daniel Horwitz, an attorney for Letterman, told reporters, "This is a serious sentence that properly reflects the crimes that Mr. Halderman has now admitted he committed and it is a fitting end to the case."
- After Letterman received a packet of incriminating emails and photos in his limo with a note demanding $2 million to keep them under wraps last September, he called police and subsequently admitted his affairs on TV. Halderman had been involved with Letterman's former assistant Stephanie Birkitt, with whom Letterman later acknowledged an affair.
ANDY RICHTER BLASTS NBC
Conan O'Brien's former sidekick Andy Richter is blasting NBC and Jay Leno for how the Tonight show hand-off went down. Filling in for Regis Philbin on Live! Tuesday (March 9th) morning, he told Kelly Ripa at the start of the show, "I actually can be on TV. Conan can't -- in fact, I'm not even sure I can say his name. I may be getting him in trouble for even saying his name." Since Richter broached the subject, Kelly delved into the late night mess: "(Kelly) Do you have any ill feelings toward NBC and Jay? Not that you're going to be honest, but go for it. (Andy) Yes! (Laughter) Yes I do. (Applause) Why wouldn't I, why wouldn't I, I mean my God I'd be like, I'd be like some sort of self hater." He explained: "Now, I mean NBC definitely, uh, everybody said they were going to do something and then they didn't (right.) Ya know, they all said years ago "We're gonna do something" and then they didn't and there was all kinds of talk about our ratings not being very good, but they were pretty good all summer (sure.) And then our lead-in changed (right) and they didn't, they weren't so good anymore. Kelly: It's very hard, I would think, to have a lead-in for a nighttime talk show that is a nighttime talk show. Andy: Yes, it was very difficult."] - Andy also said that he's frustrated that it looks as though Conan walked out of NBC with a great deal and tons of money. He said, "It's not like that at all. In fact, Conan is putting a lot of his own money out there. He formed a little corporation just to pay people to keep them, because all these people moved from New York to California to work on this show."
- As for rumors that he and Conan will tour together this year, Andy commented, "I can't say. Yes, it's a possibility. It's a distinct possibility. It would be fun. It would get me out of the house. My entire family would love that."

LINDSAY LOHAN SUING OVER 'MILKAHOLIC' E-TRADE COMMERCIAL
Lindsay Lohan is suing the financial company E-Trade, claiming that the "milkaholic" baby in its latest commercial named Lindsay was modeled after her. The New York Post reported that the seemingly unemployed starlet filed a lawsuit on Monday (March 8th), in which she's demanding $100 million for pain and suffering. The ad, which premiered during the Super Bowl, features a features a baby boy apologizing to his girlfriend over video chat for not calling her the night before. In it, the baby girl asks, "And that milkaholic Lindsay wasn't over?" - Lohan's lawyer claims that his client has the same single-name recognition as Oprah or Madonna, explaining, "Many celebrities are known by one name only, and E-Trade is using that knowledge to profit. They used the name Lindsay. They're using her name as a parody of her life. Why didn't they use the name Susan? This is a subliminal message. Everybody's talking about it and saying it's Lindsay Lohan."
- Chris Brown, a spokesman for Grey Group, which produced the spot, denies any Lohan reference, saying it "just used a popular baby name that happened to be the name of someone on the account team."
FIRST MARRIAGE OF SIMON'S FINACE REVEALED
Simon Cowell's fiance Mezhgan Hussainy is reportedly thrilled to be planning a wedding to the American Idol judge -- in part because she hopes to ease "painful memories" of her first trip down the aisle. Erlene Garcia, who was married to Hussainy's older brother, told London's Mirror that Mezhgan married an affluent Southern California rug merchant in 1988 soon after fleeing the Taliban in Afghanistan with her family. Garcia said, "She was saying, 'I'm not in love with him. He makes me sick. I have to quit school.' I told her, 'You don't have to go ahead with this. You are an American citizen.' But she told me, 'You are wrong.' " - The marriage ended after eight years.
SIMON AND MEZHGAN MAKE TELEVISION DEBUT Meanwhile, Hussainy made her first late night appearance earlier this week, gracing the stage with Simon on the Tonight Show. Cowell, who had never confirmed the engagement rumors, responded to Jay Leno's questions about his relationship status by saying, "Well, I do have somebody in my life now, Jay, yes. And I kinda made a decision this year to make somebody happy." Hussainy was eventually introduced from the audience and joined Leno and Cowell on the stage, where her and Simon kissed to a chorus of cheers. - In other Simon news, the New York Post claims his long-time ex-girlfriend, Terri Seymour, refused to walk the red carpet at Elton John's Oscar-viewing party out of fear that she'd bump into him with Hussainy.

"It was a 'follow-my-lead' sort of thing." SEAN PENN TALKED ABOUT EX ON OSCAR STAGE? Sources are now saying that Sean Penn's bizarre speech before announcing the best actress nominees was a reference to his estranged wife Robin Wright. When Penn took the stage he said, "I never became an official member of the academy, but the academy and I do have in common that we neglected to acknowledge the same actress in our own ways two years running." Insiders told the New York Daily News that he was alluding to Wright, who he forgot to thank in his acceptance speech last year, and who was absent from this year's nominations despite her acclaimed role in "The Secret Lives of Pippa Lee" JANE FONDA CHOOSES NEXT 'BARBARELLA' STAR AT OSCAR PARTY: Jane Fonda has a choice successor if a Barbarella sequel ever materializes. GABBY SIDIBE REVEALS YEN FOR GERARD BUTLER
Oscar nominee Gabourey Sidibe isn't shy about expressing herself. The Precious star -- who previously said she would have loved to have Justin Timberlake as her Oscar date -- reportedly had some spicy commentary for 300 and The Ugly Truth star Gerard Butler at an Oscar after party on Sunday. - According to sources, after passing Butler -- who is reportedly dating Jennifer Anniston -- Gabby told her friend "I'd hit that." But, according to Bossip.com, she said she was afraid she didn't make a good first impression because she'd stepped on Butler's foot during their first introduction. But the Scottish star reportedly heard Gabby's comment and joked back, "I'm here, I'm available." The two apparently shared some conversation after that during the party.
- In other news, while Sidibe, 26, didn't take home best actress honors for her work in Precious last Sunday, she did earn Hollywood's interest. As previously reported, the newly minted star will begin shooting the Showtime series The Big C in May. The show stars Laura Linney as a teacher dealing with a cancer diagnosis, and Sidibe plays a smart alecky student in her class. According to Variety, the show will premiere in the fall.
- Gabby has also been cast in the film Yelling To The Sky, co-starring Tim Blake Nelson, but no release date has been set.
SIDE NOTES - Gabourey Sidibe, escorted by her mother, wore a blue Marchesa gown embroidered with silver to the Oscars and made a point of posing provocatively for the cameras. She told E! Entertainment's Ryan Seacrest, "If fashion was porn, this dress would be the money shot, and you know it."

FORMULA REVEALS 11 AM IS BEST FOR COFFEE BREAKS: A team of university experts have come up with a formula that proves that 11 o'clock really is the best time for a coffee break. But the research also shows that a tasty Americano is not the only requirement - lights, music, aroma and good company need to be added to the mix. The research was undertaken by Professor Charles Spence of the Department of Experimental Psychology at Oxford University. He looked at combining great flavor (F) with the perfect environment (E), the container it comes in (P), who you drink coffee with (C) and the time of day you enjoy your coffee break (T) to create the most enjoyable coffee moment (M). Professor Spence's formula for the perfect coffee was: M = 0.5 x F + (0.5 x E + 0.3 x P + 0.15 x C + 0.05 x T. (Daily Mail) MEN HAVE A HALF HOUR MORE OF LEISURE TIME PER DAY THAN WOMEN: A new study found that men have a half hour more leisure time a day than women do. Overall, African-Americans reported the least amount of sleep on average on workdays or weekdays, just six hours and 14 minutes, compared with six hours and 52 minutes for Whites, six hours and 48 minutes for Asians, and 6 hours and 34 minutes for Hispanics. Regarding sleep problems, 14 percent of African-Americans were diagnosed with sleep apnea, compared with 8 percent of Hispanics, 6 percent of Whites, and 4 percent of Asians. Ten percent of Whites said they suffered from insomnia compared with 7 percent of Hispanics, 4 percent of Asians, and 3 percent of Blacks. (Fox News) CHEEKBONES INDICATE HOW TRUSTWORTHY MEN ARE: A man's cheekbones cold be an indication of how trustworthy he is. According to a new study published in the journal Psychological Science, men with wider faces are not only perceived as untrustworthy, they may deserve the reputation. In a computerized game, broad-faced men were more likely to exploit others for personal monetary gain, explained lead researcher Michael Stirrat of the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. And other players expected this behavior. The study did not address female trustworthiness. A growing body of science is showing that facial configuration -- placement of the eyes, width of the cheekbones and so on -- provides clues to a person's personality, including likelihood to be extroverted, conscientious and, now, trustworthy. While this analysis is not unfailing, it works slightly more often than not.
WHAT YOUR CELEBRITY CRUSH SAYS ABOUT YOU (Lemondrop.com)
Oscar winner/humanitarian/former Sexiest Man Alive George Clooney You crave: More fun. Variety. Maybe even a new job. The Love Doctor says: "A lot of professional, successful, achievement-oriented women are attracted to this type. And what you're really doing is looking for your opposite -- someone who's exciting, adventurous, and maybe a bit dangerous. A Clooney type is really not looking for a commitment. When you're attracted to your opposite, either you're not ready for a quality relationship -- which is fine, not everybody is -- or you might just be a little bored with what you're doing with your life." Swashbuckler/expat/Sexiest Man Alive Johnny Depp You crave: Intrigue. Bad boys. Or an exotic vacation. The Love Doctor says: While Johnny may be married with kids, the characters he plays -- in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," "Alice in Wonderland" -- are all about fantasy and escape. "He reminds me of a younger George -- with a little bit more danger. He lives on the wild side in his movies. He's unavailable. Not only to the opposite sex -- he's constantly disappearing. Think about 'Pirates of the Caribbean.'" Two-time Oscar winner / five-time nominee / man of action Denzel Washington You crave: Commitment. A rock to lean on. Possibly a father figure. The Love Doctor says: "The strong leader -- that's another very common type. Denzel Washington, Harrison Ford, Sean Connery, even Morgan Freeman. You want someone you can rely on under pressure, who doesn't get frazzled in times of stress. Someone who's not going to control you, who can take care of himself. Women are exhausted from men they have to take care of, who are dependent on them financially, emotionally or socially. I'm struck by the Denzel Washington movie 'The Taking of Pelham 123' -- no matter what, he's cool, he's calm, he's collected. Women are attracted to that." "Twilight" vampire-in-chief / tabloid topliner / teenage dreamboat Robert Pattinson You crave: Connection. Devotion. A touchy-feely type who won't suck your blood -- or your energy. The Love Doctor says: "Robert Pattison's character is extremely emotional. He cares about [Kristen Stewart's character], he's committed to her, he would do anything for her, even stop his lifestyle. And for girls who deal with boys who are unavailable and not highly talkative or emotional, that's really attractive." Jane Austen hero / Bridget Jones crush / stiff-upper-lipped Brit Colin Firth You crave: An equal. Intellectual stimulation. Someone to read the Sunday paper with. The Love Doctor says: "He represents the brain. When you're attracted to this kind of person, you really want an intellectual challenge. You want someone you can meet head-on in terms of power and intelligence. You want to think about literary works, traveling ... great conversations where you can go one-on-one with this person." Movie star / father of six / New Orleans saint Brad Pitt You crave: A ring. Or maybe just a fling. The Love Doctor says: "To many women, Pitt represents that sex-symbol image -- unattainable, unavailable. But at the same time, because he [settled down] and had kids with Angelina Jolie, he's that sensitive guy. He represents someone you could take home to your parents -- a 'keeper.' Some women think of him in 'Mr. & Mrs. Smith'; for those women it's the sex symbol. But other women think of him as he's seen in the media now, with all his charities, having a large family. [In that case] he's the sensitive guy ... reliable, dependable, trustworthy. This means you're ready to have a relationship. You're ready to share your intimate thoughts and feelings."

Family of SeaWorld Trainer Killed By Whale Fighting Against Release of Video
The family of the SeaWorld trainer who was killed last month when a killer whale dragged her into the pool by her ponytail is readying for a legal fight to block the release of video footage of the incident, the Orlando Sentinel reported. SeaWorld's cameras recorded Dawn Brancheau's death, and the tapes were turned over to police. Currently, the Orange County Sheriff's Office has the video, but once it concludes its investigation, it would become public under Florida law. Brancheau's family has been consulting with the lawyer who represented Dale Earnhardt's widow when she fought to block the release of her husband's autopsy photos, according to the Sentinel.
Self-Help Book Author Suing Ex-Fiance After He Dumped Her
A 49-year-old New York City life coach and author of more than 20 self-help books about love, life and relationships is suing her ex-fiance after he dumped her, leaving her pregnant, local station CBS-TV reported. Karen Salmansohn, who's nearly four months pregnant, said the man she met last August and was engaged to one month later promised they'd have a life together. He paid $28,000 for her in vitro fertilization and began expensive apartment renovations with her, before abruptly dumping her when she got pregnant, saying he didn't want any more children. Salmansohn also learned that he'd never filed for divorce from his wife. Now she's suing for the balance of the renovation expenses and the cost of living and medical expenses during her pregnancy, asking for more than $50,000. But CBS-TV cited experts as saying that she doesn't have much of a case since they weren't married, although her ex-fiance will be responsible for child support once the baby is born.

OSCAR BRIEFS AND OSCARS' 'KANYE' MOMENT EXPLAINED
KATHY IRELAND SAYS SHE WASN'T MEDICATED ON THE RED CARPET: Kathy Ireland is attempting to defend herself in the wake of harsh criticism for her performance on ABC's Oscar red carpet. The former supermodel -- who was called a "hot mess" after her awkward interviews -- adamantly denied speculation that she was medicated for the show. Ireland tweeted, "No meds or alcohol Angel===just J.O.Y.! Never use drugs and that as a Mom is not a cool or funny suggestion." She later added, "Some say I looked pregnant.LOL! Not true...others say I was drinking...would LOL if it were not so sad. Just excited 2 be involved. Grateful." WAS SEAN PENN BANNED FROM OSCAR PARTY? Sean Penn was reportedly banned from an Oscar after-party following "some sort of backstage confrontation" with one of The Hurt Locker producers who is supposedly dating his estranged wife, Robin Wright. A source told E!, that minutes after Penn and Greg Shaprio came face-to-face, "Academy officials said he was banned from the Governor's Ball." Penn's rep contends that the actor "chose not to go to the Governor's Ball," and says there was no altercation. Wright filed for divorce from Penn in August. She and Shapiro have been romantically linked since last month. RYAN O'NEAL 'STUNNED' AT OSCARS FARRAH SNUB: Ryan O'Neal joins legions of fans who were upset at Farrah Fawcett's exclusion from the "In Memoriam" segment at the Oscars. The late actress's partner told RadarOnline.com, "It was a terrible decision and very hurtful -- Farrah was a member of the Academy for over 40 years and we could not believe she did not get a mention...Quite frankly, we were stunned at the decision not to include her in the tribute and I feel that the Academy should be scolded for that, everyone was shocked." The Academy of Arts and Sciences is not apologizing for leaving the Charlie's Angels star out, explaining, "I would not say that it was an oversight . . . No matter how carefully and how conscientiously people address who is included, there are people who just simply can't be."
It was a feud no one knew existed, but the issues between Oscar winners Roger Ross Williams and Elinor Burkett spilled out onto a national stage as Burkett pulled a "Kanye" moment while Williams was accepting their award for best documentary short. Salon.com spoke to both parties and uncovered the beef that led producer Burkett to cut off Williams in the middle of his speech. She told Salon, "What happened was the director and I had a bad difference over the direction of the film that resulted in a lawsuit that has settled amicably out of court. But there have been all these events around the Oscars, and I wasn't invited to any of them. And he's not speaking to me. So we weren't even able to discuss ahead of the time who would be the one person allowed to speak if we won. And then, as I'm sure you saw, when we won, he raced up there to accept the award. And his mother took her cane and blocked me. So I couldn't get up there very fast." - Williams contended that, "I own the film. She has no claim whatsoever. She has nothing to do with the movie. She just ambushed me. I was sort of in shock." As for Burkett's cane claim, he said, "My mother got up to hug me. And my mother is 87 years old. She was excited."
- When told that the incident was being likened to Kanye West at the MTV Video Music Awards, Williams exclaimed, "She did! She pulled a Kanye. And it's a shame, because this is such positive, happy film."

OSCARS DRAW LARGEST AUDIENCE IN FIVE YEARS
Ratings for the 2010 Oscars were way up from the previous year. The Nielsen Co.'s overnight ratings showed that 41.3 million people tuned in on Sunday (March 7th) night -- up 14 percent from 2009. The figure also marked the largest Oscar audience in five years. Meanwhile, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin's joint hosting was generally well received, but critics attacked the show's length and focus on teen stars. Alec agreed with the positive response to his performance, telling Usmagazine.com, "I think it went great! I think it went really well. We decided it wasn't about Steve and me, it's about the nominees and the presenters. You don't need to see us!" - The New York Post printed, "The two seriously funny guys got seriously funny. Having all the Best Actor nominees on stage at once was great because it gave the hosts a way to start riffing on them all as they sat down... Instead of the usual deference to the stars, and/or spoof of the movies' openers, Martin and Baldwin cleverly roasted each of the nominees -- and some of it was hilarious."
- The Washington Post noted that, "Twilight's Kirsten Stewart still looks like your sullen, no-one-else-was-available babysitter," while the Los Angeles Times mused, " This year's Oscars seemed to suffer from a crisis of confidence. Although studded with entertaining and emotional moments, it just never seemed to get going."
