Keith Urban won't be launching a full-blown tour this summer, but fear not! He tells us he will still be making the rounds to play for fans around the country. "We're gonna do a lot of fairs and festivals this year, which we haven't gotten to do in the last couple years cause of the other tours we've been doing, so I'm really looking forward to it. (We've got) quite a few of those this year, and then we'll piece together a new arena tour for 2011."

American Idol winner Kris Allen will open for Keith on a few of his 2010 tour dates. Their first show together will be on April 23rd at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
Keith and Kris first met during the American Idol season finale last May where they teamed up for a performance of Keith's hit, "Kiss a Girl."
Keith will perform at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo at Reliant Stadium on Tuesday (March 16th).
His appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Academy Awards will be rebroadcast at 10 p.m. ET on Saturday (March 13th). The show airs on ABC.

Gary Allan is still dealing with an alleged stalker. He and 47-year-old Katherine Walker squared off in court last spring, but the case is unresolved at this point. As a famous person, Gary is used to dealing with over zealous fans, but he tells us this situation is something he's never experienced. "You know, I haven't had too many problems with it. That's the only problem I've really had. I mean, I've had fans come and knock on my door, and I'm usually polite but I'm usually very direct and say, 'It's not cool that you come here uninvited,' but I've only had one person really go off like that and make me feel threatened, and that actually started in the bars around town here. She would just come up randomly and start screamin' at me about some history that we had, and it was like, 'You don't even remotely look familiar to me,' and then we ended up in court and she came to my house a couple times."

But her visits were not welcomed. Based on home video tape that the singer submitted in court as evidence, the woman threw potted plants around the outside of Gary's home, broke a kitchen window, tossed patio furniture into the singer's pool and threw an outdoor heater from a second-story balcony while he was on the road.

Gary hasn't felt the need, however, to take extra measures to protect himself. "You know what, I guess my cameras got better, but I've always had good security at my house anyway. If you come anywhere near my property, I've got you from the second that you enter on there's little lasers actually that my TVs come on in my room and I'm just right on ya, so there's no way to sneak up on me, and I've got a loud dog."

Katherine Walker was court ordered to stay away from Gary and anyone associated with him.
She had allegedly been stalking the singer for more than four years.
Gary's new CD, Get Off On The Pain, was released earlier this week.
He will open select dates on Brooks & Dunn's upcoming Last Rodeo tour this summer.

Rascal Flatts wrapped the final leg of their American Living Unstoppable tour on Wednesday (March 10th) at Rodeo Houston in Texas. They made last Friday's (March 5th) show in Columbus, Georgia unforgettable for special guest Darius Rucker, whose dressing room and set were turned into a petting zoo. Rascal Flatts arranged for some goats to hang out in the singer's backstage area and join him onstage during his performance of "Family Tradition."

The American Living Unstoppable tour played 57 shows to more than 800,000 fans during its run, which began in June of last year. This total also includes the two sold-out stadium concerts at Chicago's Wrigley Field and Columbus' Crew Stadium last summer.
Rascal Flatts will begin a new tour this summer. They will take off some time this spring to work on a new album.
Darius will hit the road on Brad Paisley's H2O tour beginning on May 21st in Virginia Beach.

Luke Bryan and Emily West will appear in an upcoming episode of the new season of NBC's Celebrity Apprentice. The singers won't have to worry about being canned by Donald Trump. Instead, they will be part of a Nashville-themed challenge in which they help the celebrity contestants figure out what it takes to make a country music superstar, according to People magazine.

Emily said, "Reality is so much more fun when it happens with a lot of really famous people. Although being on set with four camera crews in your face is quite different from being a viewer perched in my comfy couch!"
Luke was a bit nervous about being on the show. He said, "It was a little intimidating at first with so much happening around us so fast, but I just tried to have fun with it all. I'm hoping that I do Nashville, country music and myself proud. I can't wait to see how it turns out on TV."
There is no word yet on when this particular episode airs.
This season's Celebrity Apprentice contestants include Cyndi Lauper, Sharon Osbourne, Bret Michaels and former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich.
The new season of Celebrity Apprentice premieres on Sunday (March 14th) at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.

Miranda's new single is called "The House that Built Me." It's the follow up to her career first Number One hit, "White Liar."

Taylor Swift, George Strait, Brad Paisley, Sugarland, Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, and Jennifer Hudson will perform at the television taping of the upcoming all-star concert special, ACM Presents: Brooks & Dunn -- The Last Rodeo. They join previously announced performers Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban. The tribute concert will be taped on Monday, April 19th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The special is set to air on Sunday, May 23rd at 8 p.m. ET on CBS-TV.

Tickets are still available to the public for this event for $150 and $100 through Ticketmaster.com. Proceeds of all sales benefit ACM Lifting Lives, the charitable arm of the Academy of Country Music, which works to improve lives through music.
Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn will end their 20-year career when their upcoming Last Rodeo tour wraps up on August 10th in Nashville.

COREY HAIM UPDATES

As the week goes on, more details continue to surface surrounding the death of 80s teen heartthrob, Corey Haim. From money problems to insomnia, The Lost Boys star faced many personal challenges.

His agent Mark Heaslip told CBS' The Early Show that Haim "was running a fever" of 99 to 101 shortly before his death, adding "He was laying in bed. And that night, he went to sleep, and he asked his breast cancer-stricken mother Judy to come into the room because he was having breathing problems. Heaslip said that Haim asked his mom, "'Would you lie next to me in bed?' . . . So she laid next to him in the bed, and she told Corey to roll on your side to see if it would help you breathe better, and Corey said he started feeling better. So they both went to sleep."

Between midnight and 1 a.m., Haim's mother heard someone walking around the room. When she opened her eyes, she saw Her son just fall "right to the ground."

His mom called 911, and Haim was pronounced dead at 2:15 a.m. at Providence St. Joseph's Medical Center in Burbank, California.

AUTOPSY COMPLETED; HAIM HAD PULMONARY CONGESTION

The autopsy is complete, but full results won't be determined until the toxicology report arrives in 4-5 weeks. The L.A. Country Coroner's office tells TMZ that the 38-year-old actor had pulmonary congestion, an enlarged heart and water in his lungs. But the coroner could not say if that's what led to his death. His mother told Access Hollywood that officials said her son died of pulmonary congestion.

Four pill bottles found at the apartment where Haim collapsed included the generic versions of Vicodin and Valium, which were prescribed by a prominent Los Angeles psychiatrist just days before. Law enforcement sources tell say the pill included hydrocodone (Vicodin), diazepam (Valium), haloperidol (an antipsychotic med) and Soma (a muscle relaxer).

No funeral dates has been set, but Haim will be laid to rest in his native Toronto.
His mother, Judy, plans move back to Toronto, where several members of the family already live.
Haim had been staying with his mom to help her while she battled breast cancer.

COREY HAIM BATTLED INSOMNIA

The Chicago Sun-Times reports that Corey Haim struggled with insomnia. According to a close source just weeks ago, he said, "I have a Michael Jackson problem. I know I should be more careful, but I really need a boatload of drugs just so I can get to sleep for a few hours."

COREY HAIM WAS BROKE WHEN HE DIED

Haim's best friend, Corey Feldman revealed on CNN's Larry King Live that his pal "was living in the Oakwood Apartments with his mom, very broke, very destitute," noting that the apartment complex in Los Angeles is "month-to-month living." He also said that Haim didn't own a car. Haim had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in 1997, listing debts for medical expenses and more than $200,000 in state and federal taxes. Feldman said that in the end, Haim had no one to turn to. But Feldman said things were looking up for Haim recently -- that he had "shaped up . . . He got his act together. He was doing so much better."

COREY HAIM LOCKED LIPS WITH VICTORIA BECKHAM

Haim and Victoria Beckham dated back in 1995 -- before her Spice Girls fame. The couple met at a London recording studio, when, according to Haim the two locked "sniper eyes." Haim has said, "I had to hang out with her, it's my obligation as a man to do that." Beckham confirmed the fling in her autobiography, Learning to Fly. According to the Sun-Times, Beckham at one point admitted to being a Hain stalker. Meanwhile, Haim was quoted as saying that she was a "lousy" kisser.

Tiger Woods has reportedly turned to a former White House staffer to help fix his shattered image. According to the New York Post, Woods has asked former George W. Bush press secretary Ari Fleischer to help strategize his return to professional golf.

Fleischer has transitioned into a high-profile sports image consultant, working with the likes of baseball's Mark McGwire and the Green Bay Packers.
There has been much speculation about when Woods will return to the links officially. In his public statement last month, Woods indicated that he didn't know when he would return to golf, but sports experts have said that he will play the March 22nd and 23rd Tavistock Cup at Isleworth Golf & Country Club that pits pros from the Isleworth, Florida, club against nearby rival Nona Golf & Country Club.
Others say that Tiger is planning to play The Masters tournament this year, set for April 5th through 11th in Augusta, Georgia. However an announcement should have been made about Tiger's appearance by now.

BETTY WHITE SAYS HER AGENT WOULD 'DIVORCE' HER IF SHE TURNED DOWN 'SNL'

Betty White is officially set to host Saturday Night Live on May 8th. But the booking almost didn't happen. The 88-year-old actress tells Access Hollywood, "Years ago, I turned it down three times. It's so New York, and I'm not New York at all. But my agent said he'd divorce me if I didn't do it, and I love my agent." She adds, "It's lovely, and at my age it's certainly unexpected. I've got so much energy, it's ridiculous. I love working. My schedule is a feverish one, and I'm used to that."

REPORT: CHARLIE SHEEN TO TELL COURT ASSAULT NEVER HAPPENED

When Charlie Sheen heads to court for the pending domestic abuse case, sources say his defense is going to be -- "it never happened." In December, Brooke Mueller, who recently went to rehab for a drug addiction, told police that Sheen held a knife to her throat and threatened to kill her. But insiders tell RadarOnline.com, "Charlie is going to contend that everything Brooke told police isn't true -- that she was out of her head, that she was so messed up she didn't know what was going on."

The source adds, "She partied hard before the incident. She drank heavily and she smoked crack. And Charlie is fully prepared to use that as part of his defense. Considering the fact that she went into rehab after the incident, Charlie's argument is going to have a lot of weight."

Sheen faces one felony and two misdemeanor charges. Insiders say a plea bargain is close to happening.
Since his Christmas arrest, Sheen has been to rehab.

GERARD BUTLER IS 'PARANOID' TO SLEEP WITH A LOT OF WOMEN

Gerard Bulter has toned thing down in the bedroom recently because of anxiety and fear about it making headlines in the tabloids. I mean, I'm nowhere near as naughty as I used to be, partly because I did a lot of that when I was drinking."

That said, Butler hasn't completely gone cold turkey, explaining, "I'm not saying I've cut that part out. I'm certainly no angel. There's no smoke without fire. ACTOR MERLIN OLSEN DIES: Merlin Olsen, the NFL Hall of Famer and TV star, has died of cancer at 69. NEW JERSEY MAN ARRESTED IN YEMEN, SUSPECTED OF BEING IN AL-QAIDA: A 26-year-old Somali-American who was raised in New Jersey has been arrested in Yemen, suspected of being a member of al-Qaida and accused of killing a guard in an attempt to break out of a hospital. The FBI, State Department and other authorities said they were trying to gather information about Sarif Mobley, who moved to Yemen about two years ago, supposedly to learn Arabic and study Islam. Before that, Mobley worked for several contractors at three New Jersey nuclear power plants from 2002 to 2008. Mobley was arrested in Yemen in a roundup of suspected al-Qaida members and was being treated at a hospital when he got into a shootout with guards during an escape attempt, killing one and wounding another.

STRONG AFTERSHOCKS ROCK CHILE: Strong aftershocks rocked Chile yesterday (March 11th) after last month's magnitude-8.8 quake, including during the swearing-in of new President Sebastian Pinera. More than 10 aftershocks hit Chile in the span of six hours, the strongest a significant 6.9-magnitude. Pinera said there were no reports of more deaths, but violent waves hit the coastal towns of Pichilemu and Bucalemu, and the new president urged citizens to follow the navy's tsunami warning and seek higher ground. The February 27th earthquake is known to have killed 497 people, and likely hundreds more.

HARRY REID'S WIFE, DAUGHTER INJURED IN CAR CRASH: Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's wife and 49-year-old daughter were injured in a suburban Virginia crash Thursday (March 11th) when their minivan was rear-ended on the highway by a tractor-trailer. The minivan then rear-ended the vehicle in front of them, which in turn struck the car in front of it. Reid's 69-year-old wife, Landra, suffered a broken back, neck and nose and was listed in serious condition, but was not expected to need surgery. The Reids' daughter, Lana, suffered a neck injury and facial lacerations and was released from the hospital last night. The driver of the tractor-trailer was charged with reckless driving.

OBAMA GIVES AWAY $1.4 MILLION NOBEL PRIZE MONEY: President Obama announced plans yesterday (March 11th) to give away the $1.4 million award from his Nobel Peace Prize to 10 groups. The largest single donation, $250,000, is going to Fisher's House, which provides housing for families of patients at Veterans Administration hospitals. The next biggest chunk, $200,000, is going to the Bush-Clinton Haiti Fund, through which the two former presidents are raising money for earthquake-ravaged Haiti. Six groups that help kids go to college are getting $125,000 each: College Summit; Posse Foundation; the United Negro College Fund; the Hispanic Scholarship Fund; the Appalachian Leadership and Education Foundation; and the American Indian College Fund. And $100,000 each is going to AfriCare, which funds HIV/AIDS programs, public health programs, water resource development and agriculture in sub-Saharan Africa, and the Central Asia Institute, which promotes education for girls in Pakistan and Afghanistan.

HEALTH OFFICIALS LAUNCHING CAMPAIGN ABOUT CHILDREN 'HUFFING' INHALANTS: Federal health officials are launching a new public information campaign about children using inhalants to get high. According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, more 12-year-olds admit to using inhalants to get high -- called "huffing" -- than have used marijuana, cocaine and hallucinogens combined. Only alcohol was used more in this age group. About seven percent of 12-year-olds have used inhalants, such as gasoline, nail polish, bleach, paint solvents and cleaning spray, to get high. Huffing can cause cardiac arrest, lead to brain, heart, liver and kidney damage, and be addictive.

HIGHWAY DEATHS AT LOWEST LEVEL SINCE 1950s: The Transportation Department said yesterday (March 11th) that the number of U.S. highway deaths is at the lowest level since the 1950s. Total traffic deaths declined nearly nine percent in 2009 to 33,963, the lowest since 1954. Last year's numbers are part of a steady decline since 2005, when 43,510 people were killed. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration credits the decline to more people wearing seat belts, programs to discourage drunk driving, and cars with better safety features, such as side air bags and electronic stability control to prevent rollover crashes. Part of the decrease is also being attributed to the economic downturn, since there are fewer people on the roads.

CHINA'S FIRST WOMAN ASTRONAUTS HAD TO BE MARRIED: China has chosen two Air Force pilots to be its female astronauts, who met the same exact qualifications as their male counterparts except for one -- they had to be married, SPACE.com reported. The former deputy commander of China's human spaceflight program explained, "We believe married women would be more physically and psychologically mature." The two women are military air transport pilots who were chosen with five men as China's second class of astronauts.

AP REPORT: TIGER WOODS WON'T RETURN BEFORE MASTERS: The Associated Press reported yesterday (March 11th) that Tiger Woods doesn't intend to return to golf until at least the Masters, and will likely first play at that tournament at Augusta National in April, citing two people with knowledge of his plans. Woods has been practicing near his Orlando home the last two weeks, and swing coach Hank Haney flew in over the weekend to work with him, leading to speculation that he was close to playing again. Several reports earlier yesterday said Woods was planning to return for the Arnold Palmer Invitational, which begins in just 10 days. Woods hasn't played since November 15th, when he won the Australian Masters. Twelve days later, he crashed his SUV near his Florida home, leading to the revelations about his multiple infidelities.

Meanwhile, former George W. Bush White House press secretary Ari Fleischer declined to comment on reports that he'd been hired to help with Woods' return, telling AP he could neither confirm nor deny it.

BOYFRIEND TRIES TO SURPRISE AND IS ARRESTED: A German woman who thought she was being burglarized called the police after hearing someone climbing up her balcony. Turns out, the man was her boyfriend who wanted to surprise her with flowers and a bottle of wine. The woman's boyfriend was arrested on an outstanding warrant. According to police, the man jumped off the balcony and tried to escape, but was quickly tackled by the police. "He was trying to surprise her with the flowers and a bottle of wine but it all went wrong," said Korbach police spokesman Volker Koenig. Koenig also said that the man gave the police the bottle of wine as a gesture of thanks for the friendly treatment. (Reuters)

MAN ARRESTED FOR 10th DUI CHARGE: A Tennessee man, who was going 20 mph on the interstate and weaving, was arrested for his 10th DUI charge. According to police, the 57-year-old man took the arrest like a professional and said, "I'm drunk. Do what you gotta do." The man did not have a driver's license because it was revoked from previous offenses. He was charged with a DUI, violation of the implied consent law and being a habitual motor offender. (AP)

DUTCH NURSE UNION LAUNCHES ANTI-SEX CAMPAIGN: A union that represents Dutch nurses is launching a campaign today against demands for sexual services by patients who claim it should be part of their standard care. According to the union, NU'91, the campaign came about after a 24-year-old nurse complained about a 42-year-old patient asked her to provide sexual services as part of his care at home. When she refused, he tried to dismiss her on the grounds that she was unfit to provide care. The young woman witnessed some of the man's other nurses offering him sexual gratification, the union said. The campaign will be called "I Draw the Line Here." (Reuters)

PETA OFFERS COLORADO ANTI-MEAT TRASH CANS: The animal rights group PETA is offering to pay to put trash cans in the parks of Colorado Springs on the condition that the cans carry an anti-meat advert with a picture of a woman in a lettuce bikini. The city stopped picking up the parks' trash in order to save money. However, PETA told officials that the organization would pay for the cans as long as it contained the slogans "Meat Trashes the Planet" and "Go Vegan." Mayor Lionel Rivera said that he'll consider the offer if PETA also paid for garbage pick-up and delivery to the dump. (AP)

According to the New York Times, a new study suggests that women who regularly drink moderate amounts of alcohol are less likely to gain weight than nondrinkers and are at lower risk for obesity. Researchers tracked the drinking habits of nearly 20,000 women for 13 years and found that nondrinkers gained more weight over time: nine pounds, on average, compared with an average gain of about three pounds among regular moderate drinkers. The risk of becoming overweight was almost 30 percent lower for women who drank one or two alcohol beverages a day, compared with nondrinkers.

The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) reported yesterday (March 11th) that sponsors of the "Stars on Ice Tour," which includes Smuckers and IMG Entertainment, won't allow Johnny Weir to be part of it because they claim he's, quote, "not family-friendly." Weir, a three-time U.S. national champion and two-time Olympian, has never officially announced that he's gay, but his flamboyant style of performance and costume has earned him large number of gay fans and led to the assumption that he is. The GLAAD report, which cited an anonymous source, also said that Weir won an online poll of fans that asked, "Who would you like to see guest star on 'Stars on Ice'?"
